Welcome to the English 101 Student Reflections blog for Spring 2011! As the English instructor for this course, I have asked my students to create blogs for their journal entries. The links to their blogs are listed here on the left. Although this course focuses on critical and analytical writing, this is our weekly opportunity to do some creative writing, and blogs are an excellent tool for such an assignment. Student blogs will reflect thoughts, feelings, and even the frustrations they have with English 101. They will also use the journals to share their interpretations of music, movies, books, or classical art.
Blogging is fun, even when it is done for academic purposes. Thanks for reading our entries, and feel free to leave any comments or suggestions.
